Can you imagine what it would be like if you couldn't understand speech? How would you cope? We all hope that our children will be able to talk to us, but for some children this can be a problem.

Makaton maybe the answer. Makaton uses signs and symbols to teach communication, language and literacy skills to people with communication and learning difficulties. It can also be used in the development and communication in young babies/children to get their message across (baby sign). For further information visit the Makaton website HERE.
