Established in 2004 for the purpose of providing a reference resource for the noble discipline of Karate and Kobudo, for current practitioners, newcomers and those interested in finding further information. Contained within the pages of this website we have biographies of masters past and present, articles, history and much more.

Karate originated in Okinawa, with heavy influences from China. The original characters for Karate meant "China Hand" and were pronouced "To-Te" or "Tu-Di". One of our aims is to promote and preserve traditional Karate and the Martial Arts of Okinawa and Japan. The information contained within this website includes details on Chito-Ryu, Goju-Ryu, Itosu-Kai, Kyokushinkai, Shito-Ryu, Shorin-Ryu, Shotokan, Shuri-te. Wado-Ryu and Kobudo.
